More tuner settings for your pitch practice

Recently we released an update of the algorithm of our built-in tuner that should make your pitch practice easier.

In the past, the tuner picked up ANY sounds coming from your microphone, even if it was a noise or quiet sound.

The new version picks up only LOUD SUSTAINED sound and ignores the background noises. This is controlled by a slider to adjust the microphone sensitivity. If you move the slider to the left the tuner will ignore the background noises. You will also need to sing/play louder.

Another thing – now you can also set the minimum note length that would trigger the decision whether you sing the note correctly or not. Depending on your instrument or your voice control, you may want to set different values for correct and wrong answers.

Hopefully these new settings will make your pitch practice more enjoyable.
